Nomenclature: C57BL/6NTac-Tg(ACTB-Ebi3/Il27)73Mrl
- The transgenic construct contains a 3.9 kb human beta-actin (hβ-actin) promoter fused to a 1.5 kb STOP cassette LoxP-STOP-LoxP followed by 1371 bp ORF of mEB13-mIL27 (mp28) ORF including the Kozak sequence upstream of ATG and 221 bp of SV40 polyadenylation sequence.
- The linearized transgenic construct was microinjected in C57BL/6NTac mice by pronuclear injection.
- Putative transgenic founders were identified by genotyping and bred for germline transmission with C57BL/6NTac mice.
- Heterozygous transgenic mice were identified by genotyping.
- The transgenic mouse line expresses the mEB13-mIL27 (mp28) ORF after cre mediated removal of the floxed STOP cassette.
- Line 11152 (founder #73) is the higher expressing line compared to line 11150 (founder #66).
- Datamining and Design performed in 2011.

Cryopreserved at TaconicThis model is cryopreserved and available for recovery. Models can typically be recovered and delivered to customers within 14-16 weeks after order receipt. Purchase of this model includes perpetual use rights and a deliverable of four mutant animals at the Murine Pathogen Free™ health standard along with a genotyping protocol. For models which include a recombinase gene or multiple alleles, all alleles will be provided, but individual animals may not contain all mutant alleles.

The transgenic construct contained a 3.9 kb human beta-actin (hβ-Actin) promoter fragment (human ACTB gene on chromosome 7, nucleotides 55, 25, 923 - 55, 46, 538) containing ~3.0 kb or 5'flanking sequence plus 5' UTR sequence (78 bp), and an enhancer-like intron (~832 bp) with splice donor and acceptor sites, and 6 nt of exon 2. The promoter fragment was fused to a 1.5 kb STOP cassette LoxP-STOP-Loxp followed by 1371 bp ORF of mEBI3-mIL27 (mp28) ORF including the Kozak sequence GCCACC upstream of ATG, and 221 bp of SV40 polyA sequence. The construct was created in the pGL3 vector back-bone (Promega).
