| Albany, New York Taconic maintains several biotechnology service facilities in Albany, New York. The Albany lab facilities are equipped to perform genotyping, SNP analysis, and molecular assays for genetically engineered models. Experienced surgeons perform a range of surgical procedures and tissue collections on commercial and contract animals. Production of humanized immune system mice occurs at this site. Microbiome-related products and services are housed in Albany. | Seattle, Washington Our new Seattle facility will soon offer expanded availability of off-the-shelf standard strains and cutting-edge genetically modified models with increased delivery frequency and shorter transit times for West Coast customers. Seventeen popular Taconic mouse models, as well as humanized immune system mice for immuno-oncology studies and diet-induced models for metabolic research will be bred, cared for and shipped from this location.
