A: The humanized mouse program at Taconic generates three models all based on the super immune deficient CIEA NOG mouse platform. To generate short term models of immune system function, we engraft human PBMC (peripheral blood mononuclear cell) in to NOG mice. We also generate human hematopoietic stem cell engrafted versions of huNOG and huNOG-EXL mice."
