Nomenclature: C57BL/6-Gt(ROSA)26Sortm1 (CAG-Mir122a)Mrl
- The targeting vector has been transfected into TaconicArtemis C57Bl/6 ES cell line.
- The following elements have been inserted into the ROSA26 locus: a CAG promoter cassette; a loxP-flanked transcription termination cassette (STOP) containing a combination of polyadenylation signals; the miR30-miR122a transgene and a polyadenylation site (hGH polyA).
- The conditional TTG line has been generated by crossing chimeras to C57BL/6NTac animals.
- The constitutive TTG allele can be generated by Cre-mediated recombination by crossing the line to a Cre-Deleter.
- Deletion of the STOP cassette should result in transcription of the mir122a transgene.
- The presence of the NeoR cassette will terminate the transcription from the ROSA26 promoter.
- Datamining and Design performed in 2008.

Purchase of this model includes perpetual use rights and a deliverable of four mutant animals at the Murine Pathogen Free™ health standard along with a genotyping protocol. For models which include a recombinase gene or multiple alleles, all alleles will be provided, but individual animals may not contain all mutant alleles.
